Looking through this site, you will take a strange
journey into another world, within another time...
I know, for I took it before you did, this trip is perilous.I've been
wandering for a long time across the deserts, under the grey light of
a raw sun, looking for the remains of a vanished civilization : our
civilization...
Concrete and rusty iron, everywhere, ruins of what constitutes today
our surrounding landscape, put forth like so many warts on the buried
strata of the former millennia.
From this imaginary trip I brought back some "virtual" pictures, so
called perhaps because of their alarming reality.
You are meant to be the archaeologists of the future. You have nothing
but them to attempt to reconstruct what our environment was at the
end of our 20th century. A few remains and a few fragments of
objects, chosen among the less grand, the less exceptional, to try to
understand a strange civilization from the end of the second
millennium.
